steadfast in affection or allegiance, loyal. Faithful implies unswerving adherence to a person or thing or to the oath or promise by which a tie was contracted.
Some synonyms of faithful are: dedicated, devoted, good, steadfast, steady, true
To be the opposite of faithful you may be:
disloyal, faithless, false, fickle, inconstant, unfaithful, untrue
So by English definition a faithful God is steadfast in affection.
A faithful God is faithful in allegiance.
A faithful God is loyal.
A faithful God has unswerving adherence to those who belong to Him.
A faithful God is not disloyal.
A faithful God is not faithless.
A faithful God is not false,
A faithful God is not fickle.
A faithful God is not unfaithful.
By Greek definition, a God who is pistos is worthy of belief, trust, or confidence. A pistos God is true, just, and trustworthy.
Even when we are unfaithful to Him He remains faithful to us. He cannot not be faithful. Even when people are unfaithful, God remains faithful to you.
